The Looking Glass Gallery has a tradition of finding the best students to work as curator during their time at ASU. Past curators include Steve Severt, Leigh Lane Edwards (deceased), Sara Gorden, Laura Pepper, and Lorelle Rau.
Tabitha Perryman is a senior at ASU in the Art Management program with a minor in Art History and
comes from Folsom, California. Perryman is the current Curator of the Looking Glass Gallery in the Plemmons Student Union. Previously she served as the Fund Raiser for the Art Management Organization and curated an exhibition for the Robert F. Gilley Recording Studio while also serving as a Curatorial Assistant at the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts. She has also worked in a joint gallery assistant position with the TCVA and the Catherine J. Smith Gallery. Perryman plans to follow her art history passions and attend UNC Chapel Hill’s Masters of Art History program and gain a Museology certificate after graduation and an internship.

Lorelle Rau served as the Student Curator for the Looking Glass Gallery in Plemmons
Student Union and as Curatorial Assistant for the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts through 2008. Previously, she worked for the Catherine J. Smith Gallery as a Gallery Assistant and as Collections Management Assistant for the Turchin Center. Rau held the position of Secretary for the Arts Management Organization. Rau was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1986 and played varsity volleyball for the university for the first four years of her college career. Upon graduation in December 2008, Rau finished her Bachelor of Science degree by completing an internship in Florida and another in Washington, D.C. Rau also plans to attend graduate school for art management soon after college but aims to pursue a career as a visual artist in the future.
